At Route to Reading, we use Tutorbird, a third-party calendar, to facilitate communication and manage student schedules.

12. Opt-Out: You have the option to opt-out of receiving non-essential emails and SMS communication from us by adjusting your communication preferences in your Tutorbird account settings. However, please note that opting out of essential communication, such as session reminders or account-related notifications, may affect your ability to use our services effectively.
13. Privacy: We respect your privacy and will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not share your contact information with third parties for marketing purposes.
14. Communication Frequency: While we aim to keep communication relevant and valuable to you, we reserve the right to determine the frequency and type of emails and SMS communication that we send to you. You may receive communication related to your tutoring sessions, account updates, service enhancements, and other relevant content. Message and data rates of your service provider may apply.

a. Verification of Eligibility: If you are utilizing our tutoring services through the Indiana Learns program, you may be required to provide proof of eligibility, such as enrollment in an accredited educational institution or affiliation with the Indiana Learns program.
b. Program Guidelines: You agree to adhere to any guidelines or policies established by Indiana Learns or its partner institutions that apply to your participation in our tutoring services.
c. Data Sharing: You acknowledge and agree that we may share certain information about your tutoring sessions and progress with Indiana Learns or its partner institutions as required for program evaluation, reporting, or other purposes.
d. Consent for Communication: By participating in the Indiana Learns program through our tutoring services, you consent to receive email and SMS communications related to the program, including updates, surveys, and announcements, in addition to the communication mentioned in Section 11.
e. Program Changes: We are not responsible for any changes or modifications to the Indiana Learns program or its associated benefits. Any such changes are governed by Indiana Learns and its partner institutions.
f. Program-Specific Updates: You acknowledge that certain terms and conditions may apply specifically to Indiana Learns participants and that these terms may be subject to change based on program requirements.
